When you contacted us, we asked if we could add you to our email distribution list, so that we could notify you about bat group activities, bat group news, professional training courses and bat conservation events in which you may be interested.

We have added your email address to our email account so that we can tell you about things in the world of bats that may interest you. We do not keep your details in any file on a personal computer. We do not maintain any lists of personal data, for example marketing information.

We believe we have a legitimate interest in holding your data as you are interested in the information we send out.

We do not share your personal information with anyone else. We send out emails without identifying your email address to others who receive our emails. We will never sell, distribute or lend your personal information to any other person or company.

On bat group events or training courses, we sometimes take photographs to publish on social media in order to share what we do with other interested parties. We would always ask your permission before taking photographs on such an event.
